Need A Mask

Thank you to the volunteers who gave their time, dedicated work, and sometimes monetary gifts to help this ministry provide masks to the community. At this time we are suggesting that you use the link below to order a mask. We will honor the remaining requests for masks. If you ordered one, please be patient while we sew, and we WILL call you for pickup at Salem Baptist Church.

Of course there are hundreds to choose from, but here is a quick link to Amazon.

In settings where facemasks are not available, HCP might use homemade masks (e.g., bandana, scarf) for care of patients with COVID-19 as a last resort. However, homemade masks are not considered PPE, since their capability to protect HCP is unknown. Caution should be exercised when considering this option. Homemade masks should ideally be used in combination with a face shield that covers the entire front (that extends to the chin or below) and sides of the face.

Salem Baptist Church makes no claim that masks supplied by the church are a replacement for the protection from the COVID-19 virus. To protect yourself please read the updated reports supplied by the CDC – click here.
